The medical rehabilitation in the multifunctional neurological rehabilitation centre consists of the medicament correction of the basic neurological disease, accompanying pathology, carrying out general fortifying therapies, herbal medicine and a number of actions by a choice of an individual program of medicament therapy. The big section of medical rehabilitation is the organization of the outpatient help for the patients with multiple sclerosis with the high-budget anti-relapsing preparation - Betaferon, which is one of the most effective preparations used for reduction of frequency of clinically expressed aggravations.

In 2002, there was purchased and installed the Somnological laboratory, equipped by one of modern polysomnographs, manufactured by the USA firm "Resmed". An urgency of existence of this laboratory in the center is that the majority of rehabilitated patients shows complaints to bad sleep, superfluous daytime drowsiness, and a group of diseases, which have directly entailed the physical inability, is connected to the pathology of sleep (acute infringement of brain blood circulation, vascular encephalopathy). Therefore, the tasks of Somnology fully meet the primary goals of preventive medicine and rehabilitation: the prevention of the development of the disease, the alleviation of the course of illness, restoration of lost functions. The equipment of the laboratory allows spending diagnostics of various pathological conditions of sleep, which is totaled up to 70 kinds of nosology, by the classification of frustration of sleep.

The physiotherapeutic help is being carried out by means of devices for influence on the central nervous system by currents of various physical parameters. The medical techniques used in physiotherapeutic branch are directed: to the removal of pain syndrome; the restoration of the patient's functions of movement  (the procedure of electro stimulation; carrying out the oxygen therapy with the purpose of prevention of secondary cerebral accidents, the device "Zephyr", made in France).

The Stable Metrical Platform is the unique equipment by the American firm "Biodex", allowing using a method, based on the training, spent in a game form. Due to the built-in software based on the general principles of the biological feedback, and for the formation of the correct dynamic stereotype of gait and bearing, broken because of a vascular accident of the brain, pathology of the backbone.
